Print Bid Title: Request for Bids - CDBG Business Façade Grant Project - 111 Church Street, Belfast Category: Economic Development Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR BIDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT BUSINESS FAÇADE GRANT PROJECT 111 CHURCH STREET, BELFAST The owners of the Belfast Opera House building located at 111 Church Street, Belfast, Maine, seek qualified vendors to provide bids for the following services: Repair/replace and paint wood trim around some first-floor doors and windows, including the decorative door façade at the main entrance of the Opera House. Wood signage and decorative door façade at main entrance needs repair, painting, and caulking. Replace wiring and 48 nonfunctional marquee lights around the Opera House entry doors. Repair and repoint some exterior brick and granite on ground floor. This work is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Façade Grant and is subject to all federal and state requirements for this program. Davis Bacon wage rates will apply for this project. The full bid package contains additional information regarding this scope of work. Bids are due at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 6th and can be either mailed or hand-delivered to: Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director, City of Belfast (Belfast City Hall, top floor), 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915. Bids submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place immediately following the bid deadline and will be open to the public.
