INVITATION TO BID: PMP&L SCOW BAY METAL BUILDING ADDITION Bid/RFP Status: Closed - no longer accepting bids and proposals Bid/RFP Due Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2025 - 2:00pm Back to Bids/RFPs BID TABULATION Notice is hereby given that the Petersburg Borough, Petersburg Municipal Power & Light, will receive sealed bids for the PMP&L SCOW BAY METAL BUILDING ADDITION – 2025. This project is the installation of a pre-fabricated steel building shed roof on an existing pre-fabricated steel building. The location is at the Petersburg Municipal Power & Light pole yard. This location is on Mitkof Highway at mile 3.3 south of Petersburg. The new pre-fabricated steel building shed roof will have existing walls on two sides, one new end wall and be open on the long side. Lighting & electrical will not be part of the project as the existing lighting and electrical of the existing building is sufficient. The estimated construction cost for the base bid is between $100,000 & $200,000. All Work must be completed by November 30, 2025. Sealed bids will be received by the Petersburg Borough, Post Office Box 329, Petersburg, Alaska 99833, located upstairs in the Municipal Building, 12 South Nordic Drive, Petersburg, Alaska 99833 until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, June 11 , 2025, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Assembly Chambers Conference Room. The Contract Documents may be obtained from the Petersburg Borough, Public Works office, Petersburg, Alaska 99833 (907) 772-4430. A non-refundable fee of $30.00 made payable to the Petersburg Borough is required for each set of contract documents. Additional charges will be required for special handling or delivery of the documents by means other than first-class mail. The Contract Documents may also be downloaded free of charge below: PROJECT MANUAL PLANS All changes or addenda will be listed on the website. The Offeror’s responsible for ensuring that they have received all Addenda affecting this Solicitation. It is recommended that interested parties complete the Contractor Notification Form to receive changes or addenda. The City of Petersburg Standard Specifications (CPSS) that will be used in this contract are available for an additional fee of $60.00 made payable to the Petersburg Borough or available for free on the Borough’s website . Additional charges will be required for special handling or delivery of the documents by means other than first-class mail. The City of Petersburg Standard Specifications documents may also be obtained at the Petersburg Borough Public Works office. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check made payable to the Petersburg Borough in the amount of five percent of the total bid price.
