Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to place a firm-fixed priced contract with ScanDidios Inc. for the procurement of the following services for the Delta4 Phantom+ system: Description Quantity Unit Software Maintenance Agreement: 12 months software maintenance agreement 5 Year(s) Hardware Maintenance Agreement: 12 months hardware maintenance agreement 5 Year(s) ScanDidios Inc. is the manufacturer and only vendor capable of providing the services required by South Texas Veterans Health Care System. Anticipated period of performance: Base year: 03/01/2026 02/28/2027 Option year 1: 03/01/2027 02/29/2028 (leap year) Option year 2: 03/01/2028 02/28/2029 Option year 3: 03/01/2029 02/28/2030 Option year 4: 03/01/2030 02/28/2031 This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded based on offers received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within 7 days from the publication of this notice, a contract or order will be issued to ScanDidios Inc. without any further notice. The anticipated statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for the requirement is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
