Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of PN: PM8572A-1 which is the F3I replacement for NSN: 6625-01-585-4346KV, current PN: WW2572A-1MEG-S-RACK, PR # FD2060-26-00383.
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
NSN: 6625-01-585-4346KV, PN: PM8572A-1, Noun: Generator, Signal (Pulse Waveform Generator, provides high-frequency, independent pulse, square, and arbitrary waveforms). This Signal Generator is used on the Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night Automated Test Set (LANTIRN ATS) (ELECTRONIC ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS TEST SET), AN/AAM-104, PN 10000374-10, T.O. 33D7-38-332-4.
IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION:
The original equipment manufacturer for this item is Tabor Electronics. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Tabor Electronics is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the performance requirements and possession of the required technical data, drawings, facilities, and expertise needed to produce these items and ensure form-fit-function interface and system compatibility.
INTEREST:
The DLA Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Tabor Electronics for the manufacture of NSN: 6625-01-585-4346KV, New PN: PM8572A-1 listed in support of the LANTIRN ATS Program. The NSN/PN above cannot be broken into multiple sub-groups for bidding. Other interested parties may respond to the requirement no later than March 5, 2026 to Malinda Gleaton via email (malinda.gleaton@us.af.mil). The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by 10 U.S.C. 3204 (a) (2). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
