Sources Sought For the Replace Condensate Lines and Pumps Project 585-21-113 at the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801 36C25226B0005 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS, soliciting responses exclusively from Small Business concerns. The purpose of this announcement is to gather preliminary industry information for planning purposes; no proposals are being requested or accepted at this stage. This is **not** a solicitation for proposals, and no contract will be awarded based on this synopsis. We are conducting market research to identify highly qualified small businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSBs) to determine the appropriate set-aside category needed to meet the government s requirements. To facilitate an accurate assessment, we need to ascertain your firm s interest. The Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center is seeking Construction firms under NAICS Code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. PART 1 General Scope of Work: Contractors shall provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract for the Replace condensate Lines and Pumps 585-21-113 at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center Located in Iron Mountain, Michigan as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. Work includes remove, resize, and replace condensate steam lines, pumps, PRVs, add bypass lines, replace HPC traps, associated asbestos, replace 6 steam valve coming from 8 MPS header in sub-basement and other aspects of construction as required by the drawings and specifications. Installation shall be as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the drawings. **Period of Performance: *180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) The small business size standard for NAICS 238220 is $19 million. **Part 2 INTERESTED SOURCES SDVOSB AND VOSB MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:** Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, SAM UEI number, and business status. Indicate the primary nature of your business, any teaming agreements or arrangements, planned self-performance and subcontracting program. Provide detailed construction background related to extensive experience in hospital electrical and wiring installation. This information should include a description of the overall project, AND specifically what work your company performed on the contract. Include overall project costs as well as the cost assigned to your portion of the project. Provide details on the size of your business from the following types of specialized construction small businesses: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) 8(a) Businesses HUBZone Businesses Small Businesses (SB), and Large Businesses. If your intent is to complete this potential contract as one of the small business types listed above, include specific details as to how your company will fulfill the 25% small business-type requirement. If your company will not be self-performing the Replace Condensate Lines and Pumps, provide qualifications listed above for the subcontractor. Total submittal shall be no longer than (8) eight pages in one .pdf file or word document.
