Joint Base Andrews (JBA) full food service operation consists of: (1) Main dining facility services and (2) In-Flight Kitchen Services for the Freedom Hall facility; and (3) Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Cook support services for the 89 Airlift Wing (1st Airlift Squadron and 99th Airlift Squadron).
The Freedom Hall provides full meal service while meeting the nutritional needs of personnel in accordance with (IAW) Department of Air Force (DAF) guidance. Freedom Hall is a full-service dining facility to include carry-out service. The In-Flight Kitchen provides boxed meals for passengers and crews in support of flying missions on a 24-hour basis and to customers requesting them in support of ground operations.
The 89 Airlift Wing (1st Airlift Squadron and 99th Airlift Squadron) at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) full-culinary service for Distinguished Visitors (DV) operations consists of: (1) main Flight Kitchen, Building 1658; (2) Executive Flight Kitchen Services; and (3) Brigade Kitchen support services featuring a cross-trained kitchen staff. This program provides full culinary expertise to assist, train, and advise Flight Attendants to meet the nutritional needs and culinary demands of DV’s. Building 1658 Flight Kitchen is a full-service kitchen preparation to support flight services. The Flight Kitchen provides top tier culinary for passengers and crews in support of flying missions.
