Description
This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice (Synopsis) in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, hereby announces it intent to issue a solicitation for a small business set-aside, Firm Fixed-Price contract for General Leonard Wood Community Hospital Shuttle Driver Service in support of the United States Army Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a new requirement.
THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via the System for Awards Management (SAM), and conduct Source Selection Board in accordance with FAR Part 13 with elements of FAR Part 15 and DoD Source Selection Procedures, on/about fifteen (15) days from the publication/posting date of this Notice.
The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 485999 (All Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation). The size standard for this NAICS Code is $16.5 million.
The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract resulting from this solicitation. The duration of the contract will include a one-year base period plus 2-year periods. The estimated value of this effort is $710,650.00.
Project Scope: The Contractor shall provide all personnel to operate four (4) Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) shuttles for ambulatory/non-ambulatory patients and staff for the General Leonard Wood Community Hospital (GLWCH) at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. These positions are a key component of the hospital’s customer service and customer convenience program and will serve as an ambassador for positive public relations and patient safety.
The solicitation will be posted at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities under the solicitation number W911S7-26-R-A011 on or after April 07, 2026, with an anticipated proposal due date of June 05, 2026. There is no potential for a site visit on this requirement.
