Description

Subject: Sources Sought – RFI - Compact Tractor with Attachments (SDVOSB Requirement)

Dear SDVOSB Contractor,

I am reaching out on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare Systems (CAVHCS) regarding a requirement for a compact tractor that meets the following salient characteristics:

- Tractor Type: Compact Tractor

- Horsepower: 50 hp

- Engine: 4-Cylinder Turbocharged Diesel

- Transmission: Power Reverser or Hydrostatic

- PTO: Rear at least 39 hp

- Rear Hitch: Category 1 – At least 2,400 lbs.

- Attachments: Rear Backhoe (18” trenching type), Front Loader Bucket

- Cab: Enclosed with factory-installed radio, heating and air conditioning

- Additional Features: Power steering, canopy lights, mirrors, windshield wipers, rear lights, wet disk braking system, 4WD, wheelbase 73–81 in.
