1. Introduction

The 460th Force Support Squadron at Buckley Space Force Base (SFB), located in the Denver-metro area, is seeking sources capable of providing a turnkey, managed high-speed Wi-Fi solution for the base fitness center.

The facility is approximately 80,000 sq. ft., constructed with a steel frame and concrete floors. The desired solution must support a high-density environment of over 1,500 simultaneous users.

2. Summary of Requirements

The Government requires a comprehensive solution that includes a 1 Gbps fiber optic internet circuit and all associated hardware, installation, and ongoing support.

3. Scope of Work & Services

The contractor shall provide all necessary hardware, software, engineering, and installation services for a complete 1 Gbps Managed Wi-Fi System.

Core Service Features (Monthly Subscription):

  • Turnkey Solution: Provide, manage, and maintain all components required for the service.
  • Professional Installation: Includes a predictive site survey, network design to ensure optimal coverage, and professional installation of all cabling and hardware.
  • Hardware Provision: All necessary equipment, including a firewall/controller, 24-port PoE+ switch, and Wi-Fi Access Points, provided on a subscription basis.
  • Total Warranty & Replacement: All equipment is fully covered against failure, damage, or obsolescence for the duration of the contract term.
  • License Management: Contractor is responsible for managing all required software and service licenses.

Installation Tasks:

The contractor shall perform all tasks required for a successful installation, including but not limited to:

  • General site and Wi-Fi predictive surveys.
  • Determination of network demarcation point.
  • Placement and installation of router, switches, and Wi-Fi Access Points.
  • Installation of all interconnecting wiring.
  • Verification of adequate power sources.
  • Final system turn-up, testing, and user training.

General Requirements:

  • The contractor is responsible for providing all tools and equipment necessary for installation (e.g., scissor lifts, ladders, cabling tools).

4. Response Submission Instructions
