Print Bid Title: Rural School Playground Replacement Project Category: Construction Services Status: Closed Description: The KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH will receive sealed bids until 2:00 pm (local time), February 16, 2017, for the RURAL SCHOOL PLAYGROUND REPLACEMENT PROJECT, Kodiak, Alaska. The scope of work includes demolishing and removal of existing wooden playground equipment at schools in Akhiok, Chiniak, Karluk, Larsen Bay, Old Harbor, Ouzinkie, and Port Lions, and installation of new playground equipment and safety surfacing material. New playground equipment is provided by the Kodiak Island Borough; Contractor is responsible for shipping new equipment from Port of Kodiak to each rural site. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference at the KIB Projects Office, 720 Egan Way, Kodiak, AK 99615 on January 31, 2017 starting at 10:00 am local time. All interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend this pre-bid conference. All interested parties are required to register in order to receive notification regarding amendments and addenda.
