STATION 18T - 13810 NE 5 AVENUE, NORTH MIAMI, 33161 SCOPE OF WORK FOR STATION 18T: Project Overview: The work, in general consists of removal and dispose of any existing asphalt area, existing Canopy to be removed, existing adjacent trees to be removed and any and all interfering obstacles with new location to accommodate for New Single Trailer, New (2) steel containers and New Canvas Canopy Awning. The project site will accommodate new proposed 6” Monolithic Concrete Slab, with new concrete slopes with Broom finish, as well as new Asphalt area, with the (2) Steel containers, a new Trailer and Canvas Canopy; as noted on the Contract Project Drawings, consisting of seven (7) sheets D-1.0, A-1.0, A-2.0, A-3.0, E-1- 0, E-2.0 and MEP-1.0 here in prepared in-house by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Facilities & Construction Division dated 11/06/2025. Temporary Trailer at Fire Station #18 - located at 13810 NE 5th Ave. North Miami, FL. 33161. STATION 41 - 4911 SW 117 AVENUE, MIAMI, FL 33175 SCOPE OF WORK FOR STATION 41: Project Overview: The purpose of this project is to install a new single-wide trailer at Miami Dade Fire Rescue Station 41 to accommodate expanded fire rescue services. This will involve the installation of the trailer and necessary site improvements. This additional space shall be fully functional and integrated with the current fire station's operations, regulations, accessibility standards, and in accordance to the Construction Documents by MDFR dated 10/10/2025. This project is covered under the Cone of Silence. Any questions pertaining to this project must be submitted via email to the MDFR Project Manager and MDFR Construction Contracts Planning Section Manager at [email protected] and MDFR Construction Managers [email protected] -AND- [email protected] ; to include coping the Clerks of the Board at [email protected] . MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING/SITE VISIT: Pre-bid site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 10 a.m. starting at Fire Station 18T located at 13810 NE 5 AVENUE, NORTH MIAMI, 33161. Immediately following the visit at Station 18T, contractors will be escorted by a MDFR Project Manager to Station 41T located at 4911 SW 117 AVENUE, MIAMI, FL 33175. Contractors who fail to visit each site with the MDFR Project Manager will be unable to submit a bid for this project. SEALED BIDS: For this project will be received for and on behalf of Miami-Dade County, by Miami Dade Fire Rescue at 9300 NW 41st Street, Suite 237, Miami, Florida, 33178. BID BOND: All Bids shall be accompanied by 1 original fully executed and 2 copies of original of a bid guarantee for not less than 5% of the amount of the total bid, which includes all contingencies and allowances, and at the option of the bidder shall be one of the following: a certified check, a bank draft payable to Miami-Dade County, US Government Bonds at par values, or bid bond secured by a surety company. RFI’S: The last day for project RFI QUESTIONS is on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Any questions submitted after aforementioned date shall not be considered. MDFR will review and answer the questions, prior to the bid due date. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detail Scope of Work.
