This is a solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12. Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services with elements of FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation and FAR 16 – Types of Contracts, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The commercial products are Original Equipment Manufactured ((OEM) by Defense Maritime Solutions/Wartsila. Contractors other then the OEM that interested in submitting a proposal must provide in their proposal a signed and certified agreement with the OEM authorizing distribution of the required supplies. Failure to do so will exclude any offerors proposal from award consideration.
It is the Government’s intention to solicit this Requirements type contract with Firm-Fixed Price Delivery Orders. Reference all attachments applicable to this solicitation.
