Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information & Technology (OI&T), is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing above and below raised floor cleaning services in active, mission-critical data center environments.
Services will be required at multiple VA Information Technology Center locations in Austin, TX; Martinsburg, WV; Hines, IL; and Philadelphia, PA. The requirement includes semi-annual and annual cleaning of raised access flooring systems, subfloor plenums, static dissipative (ESD) flooring, LAN closets, telecom rooms, mechanical rooms, and hot aisle containment systems. Work must be performed using HEPA/ULPA-filtered vacuum equipment and anti-static cleaning solutions and must not disrupt ongoing data center operations.
The Government seeks contractors with demonstrated experience in critical environment/data center cleaning and the ability to comply with federal security and background investigation requirements.
This notice is for market research purposes only in accordance with FAR Part 10. This is not a solicitation. The Government will use responses to determine appropiate acquisition strategy, small business participation, contract type and evaluation methodology.
