Description
Sources Sought
***This is not a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any costs associated with this notice. ***
Synopsis
The United States Air Force at Ellsworth AFB is conducting Market Research, in accordance with FAR Part 10, to identify possible sources for the leasing of aircraft de-icing trucks. At this time, there is no Statement of Work (SOW) associated with this requirement. As such, the Government is willing to consider any capabilities available. However, any offeror must be able to supply the leased equipment within 10 Days ARO. We will need the vehicle for approximately 1-2 months.
If interested, please send a capability statement with any technical details of your available equipment and how soon you can deliver the vehicle to Ellsworth AFB, as well as an estimated cost. The estimated cost is to be used for budgetary planning and is not legally binding. Additionally, please provide CAGE codes or SAM UEI codes. At this time, the government does not need lengthy brochures or capability statements. Please respond only with the basic minimum requested details. We will respond with any additional required details as needed.
The Government will use information received to formulate the acquisition strategy and small business set-asides.

How do I use the Market Snapshot?
It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.
Is the data live?
The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
What do P10 and P90 mean?
P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
