Description
This Source Sought Notice is being posted and is intended only as an Expression of Interest (EOI). This is not a solicitation, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The work requested consists of design and construction services at the Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS). The potential offeror(s) will be required to travel and provide construction services to Mission Support and Testing Services (MSTS) at the NNSS.
This Source Sought is for a potential award of a Construction Subcontract. This work will encompass comprehensive flush and test (F/T) services for the new cooling water systems piping, executed precisely according to the design documents. Furthermore, the SUBCONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the end-to-end provision of critical components: including the design, procurement, and fabrication of three Cooling Water Distribution Units (CDWUs), nine associated distribution manifolds, and 25 associated Chilled Doors. This also entails providing all necessary specialty valves, flowmeters, level, pressure, differential pressure, and temperature sensors for various UCEP support systems. Beyond component provision, the SUBCONTRACTOR will furnish highly skilled and technically adequate support for the installation of all components, as well as the identification, vetting, and management of a qualified sub-tier to execute the specialized flush and test services for the entire integrated system. While MSTS's Project Management Office retains oversight of project controls, the inherent complexities of these interconnected systems, coupled with their critical role within the PULSE facility's SCE mission, necessitate a SUBCONTRACTOR with a proven, system-wide understanding and the capability to manage all facets of this integrated effort, rather than fragmented expertise.
