Description
The 55th Contracting Squadron has an ongoing requirement to acquire a C-47 (Skytrain) for aerial/static diplay to show to the public at the 2026 Offutt AFB "Defenders of Freedom" Air and Space Show. Show dates are 8 august and 9 August 2026 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Additional details can be found in the attached Statement of Work.
Although not finalized, the plan is to utilize the the aircraft for the jump team to jump from. Once the aircraft lands, it will taxi to the crowd line to becom a static aircraft (plan subject to change).
