In accordance with FAR Part 10 - Market Research, this sources sought notice is being issued by the 905th CBn on behalf of the United States Army Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC).

This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Department of War (DoW). This sources sought notice is intended for planning purposes only in order to determine industry interest and capability. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote.
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) capable of providing comprehensive removal of all specified vegetation that includes cutting, clearing, and processing trees, brush, and overgrowth using heavy-duty equipment such as a bush hog, chainsaws, and a woodchipper . The purpose of this notice is to determine if there is adequate SDVOSB interest and capability to set aside a potential procurement.
No contract will be awarded solely on the basis of the responses hereto.
The performance Location will be JSOMTC Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Description of Services
The required vegetation and debris services include:
Scope of Work.
- The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to perform vegetation clearing and removal services. The scope includes clearing vegetation and trees from the JSOMTC fence line, adjacent roadsides, and ensuring ditches are clear.
- Clear all overgrown vegetation, trees, and tree debris from a distance of 50 feet from the JSOMTC fence line.
- Clear all vegetation for 5 feet on each side of Bastogne Drive.
- Clear all vegetation for 5 feet on each side of the road running between Bastogne Drive and Kedenburg Street.
- Remove all vegetation growing on or directly against the fence along Bastogne Drive.
- Ensure that all ditches within the specified work areas are completely clear of vegetation and trees to ensure proper drainage.
- Process all cleared trees and large debris using a woodchipper on-site.
- Remove all resulting wood chips and debris from the location upon completion of the work. The site shall be left clean.
Interested SDVOSB firms must submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to perform the work described. The statement should include:
- Company Information: Name, address, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), CAGE Code, and contact information.
- Business Size and Status: Verification of SDVOSB status in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) VetCert database.
- Past Performance: A list of at least three similar examples completed within the last five to seven years. Include project name, owner, contact information, dollar value, and a brief description of the work performed.

Responses should be submitted no later than 02 April 2026 12:00PM EST.
