THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR INVITATION FOR OFFERORS TO SUBMIT QUOTATIONS. THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED FOR A MINIMUM OF 15 DAYS PRIOR TO POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates issuance of solicitation 15B10626Q00000012 for the award of a firm fixed-price construction contract entitled Precast Joint Replacement FMC at Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner.
FCC Butner is a federal correctional complex located at Old NC Hwy 75, Butner, North Carolina 27509. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work. The purpose of the project is to replace exterior precast concrete panel control joints, concrete-to-metal window frame joints, louvers, and doors on all elevations, as well as designated expansion joints at the Federal Medical Center (FMC).
The performance period for the project will be 140 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
The solicitation will be available approximately on or about April 20, 2026. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions.
