****Please see the attached Amendment No. 2 to ITB 686 labeled as "ITB 686 A2" below that was issued by the Agency on 2/26/2026********Please see the attached Amendment No. 1 to ITB 686 labeled as "ITB 686 A1" below that was issued by the Agency on 2/20/2026****The Agency is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors (“Contractor”) to remove and install carpet at the Alaska State Capitol (Capitol) that is located at 120 4th Street in Juneau, Alaska. This ITB is intended to provide all necessary Work and Services needed to remove existing carpet, repair and prepare subflooring, and install new carpet in designated areas of the Capitol.A more detailed description of the project including the work and services that is to be performed is described in section two (ITB Specifications) of the ITB and Attachments of this ITB.Important Notices to potential Bidders: Registration with Procurement Manager: If you are receiving this solicitation from the State of Alaska Online Public Notices website or through email, you must register with the Procurement Manager to receive subsequent amendments. Registration should be in writing and email is preferred. Contact information is shown below. Pre-Bid Meeting and Site-visit: All prospective Bidders are required to schedule a pre-bid meeting and site visit that will be offered by the Agency. The pre-bid meetings and site-visits will be offered on Saturday, February 14, and Saturday, February 21, 2026, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Alaska Time. To attend, Bidders must email the Procurement Manager listed on page one (1) of the ITB at least twenty-four (24) hours ahead of the dates offered to schedule a time on February 14th or February 21st to attend in person at the Alaska State Capitol Building, 120 4th Street, Ground Floor Lobby, Juneau, Alaska. The Procurement Manager will provide the potential Bidder with their scheduled time for the meeting and site-visit based upon availability of the time slots.Following the meeting, the Agency will coordinate a site visit of the Capitol Work areas for the purpose of planning and preparing the Bidder's Bid for this ITB. The site visit will be limited to 90 minutes and all visitors attending will be required to follow current Legislative Building policies while on site.Deadline for Receipt of Bids: Bids must be received by the Procurement Manager no later than 2:00 P.M. Alaska Time on March 11, 2026. Late bids will not be accepted. The Alaska State Legislature complies with the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals with disabilities who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the Procurement Manager, no later than ten (10) days before bids are due to make any necessary arrangements.
