This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice posted by the 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, to generate interest in the upcoming Solicitation, FA469026R0005, for the competition and award of a firm-fixed-price contract for Air Compressor Maintenance Services at Ellsworth Air Force Base (AFB), South Dakota. The contractor will provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, testing, and services reqquired to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in compliance with requirements identified outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Service Summary (SS). The contractor will perform all work in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force (HAF) standards, instructions, and commercial practices. An Indefinate Delivery-Indefinate Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price contract is anticipated with a 5, 1-year ordering periods, and an optional 6-mounth extension, for a total estimated period of performance of 5 years and 6 months. The actual period of performance will be finalized at the time of award. This contract will be solicited under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $12,500,000. This procurement is expected to be full and open competition, and the resulting contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the government, based on the evaluation factors specified in the forthcoming solicitation.
