36C25626Q0270 Emergency repairs to the backup emergency power generators at the Combined Heat Power (CHP) plant for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Houston, Texas. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services- FAR Overhaul. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The CSS number is 36C25626Q0270. It is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Contractor to provide all labor, parts, tools, equipment, trained personnel, supervision, and transportation/travel for Emergency repairs to the backup emergency power generators at the Michael E. DeBakey VAMC Combined Heat Power (CHP) plant located at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77030. The government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price resulting from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-06 (effective: 10/01/2025). This solicitation is issued as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310- Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $12,500,000.00.
