Description
A brief summary of the scope is provided below. For complete details please download the Statement of Work attached to this notice.
The LAr Circulation System VD and HD Equipment is responsible for transferring liquid argon coming from the Cryostat VD and Cryostat HD to the low-pressure suction side of the main LAr Circulation Pump (not part of this scope). It is also responsible for transferring liquid argon downstream of the main LAr Circulation Pump (not part of this scope) through the system resistance (friction and internal losses in valves, piping, etc.) to the LAr Purification system. The selected vendor will engineer and manufacture the vacuum jacketed pump valve box (part of the scope) that will house the pump, the MLI insulated upstream and downstream piping, isolation valves, and instrumentation required for this operation laid out above. The cryogenic equipment in the Detector Caverns will need to be properly protected and accessible with the use of platforms, ladders, support beams and railings (all part of this scope).
Scope Overview of the Supply Structure
The LAr Circulation System VD and HD acquisition is broken down into the equipment, valves and instrumentation that are detailed in the SOW
• Vacuum Jacketed Pump Valve Box
• MLI insulated upstream and downstream piping of the main LAr Circulation Pumps (Pumps are not part of Supply)
• Instrumentation
• Isolation Valves
• Pressure Safety Valves
• Cryogenic Equipment Protection (Platforms, Ladders and Supports

FAQ
How do I use the Market Snapshot?
It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.
Is the data live?
The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
What do P10 and P90 mean?
P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
