The Department of Homeland Security {DHS}, United States Coast Guard {USCG} Surface Forces Logistics Center {SFLC}, located at 1 Eagle Road Bldg. 55, Alameda CA 94501 is issuing this Notice of Intent {NOI} to inform industry contractors of the Government's intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price {FFP} Contract IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation {FAR} Part 12 and 13 procedures.

USCG SFLC requires: USCGC Hamilton technical service to repair micro-CP.
This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation {FAR} Part 12 and FAR Part 13, specifically FAR 13.106-1{b}{1}, allowing the Contracting Officer
{KO} to solicit from one source.

TECHNICAL SERVICES TO REPAIR WOODWARD MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1035)
Background. CGC HAMILTON is unable to operate the Main Gas Turbine. Initial trouble shooting determined a critical failure in the Woodward panel. Further troubleshooting revealed RAM failure fault codes. HAMILTON requires a certified Woodward technician to troubleshoot the cause of failure and to replace the MICRONET CPU with a newly reprogrammed one.
- Scope. 1 Field Service Engineer for two (2) ten (10) hour travel days and two (2) ten (10) hour days on a single visit for following:
- MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1035) inspection and troubleshooting.
- Perform CPU upgrade to MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1245). This would include uploading new GAP software compatible with new CPU.
- Tasks. The contractor shall:
- Provide all technical and all proprietary data to troubleshoot and repair the CPU (PN 5466-1035).
- Provide quantity (2) of the MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1245) and deliver the parts to the place of performance.
Note: MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1245) has a stated 6-week lead time from OEM.
- Program and upgrade HAMILTON to MICRONET CPU (PN 5466-1245).
