Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to the HI Stafford Management, LLC. (Holiday Inn Express-Stafford) for 40 hotel rooms needed to accommodate Single Occupancy for SLT #431 students. Check in date is March 22, 2025 and check out date is March 28, 2025. The Holiday Inn Express is located 6.3 miles (approximately 16 minutes) from the DEA Training Academy. Due to Base accessibility restrictions, students require as much time as possible to gain entry to the facility. It is also centrally located with many restaurants within walking distance.     

In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government’s requirement detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The facility must be on the  List of Approved Hotels and Motels for Federal Travelers (fema.gov).  The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order.  A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures”.  A redacted version of the approved Sole Source Documentation is attached to this notice.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 721110.  The business size standard is $40,000,000.  The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.  A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. 

Closing date for submitting a capability statement is February 14, 2026 @ 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time.  All submissions should be submitted electronically to Lori.A.Love@dea.gov.
