Description
The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at Assateague Island National Seashore in Berlin, Maryland. Work will consist of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, license, certificates, permits, personal protection equipment, professional services, and equipment as required to rehabilitate the MD Developed Zone water distribution system as detailed in the Scope of Work, drawings and Specifications, included with the solicitation documents.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Worcester County, Maryland will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, and the size standard is $45.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
