Print Bid Title: KIB Mental Health Buildings Demo & Abatement Category: Construction Services Status: Awarded Description: INVITATION TO BID The KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH will receive sealed bids until 2:00 PM (local time), December 13, 2024 , for MENTAL HEALTH BUILDINGS DEMO & ABATEMENT Kodiak, Alaska. All work to be done under one Contractor as described in the Scope of Work: Base bid will be removing all finishes and materials from two existing apartment buildings down to bare studs and structural plywood sheathing; demolishing existing mechanical/laundry building; and removal of exiting underground fuel storage tank. Alternate bid will be the removal of existing underground fuel storage tank at an Auxiliary Building. All work must be substantially complete not later than May 1, 2025, and final completion achieved not later than June 1, 2025. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on December 10, 2024, at 11:30 AM (local time) starting at the Assembly Chambers, Kodiak Island Borough Building, 710 Mill Bay Road, Kodiak, Alaska. Potential bidders are encouraged to attend this conference. Questions or clarifications regarding the bid documents are due by 4:00 PM (local time) December 10, 2024.
