Description

The U.S. Embassy – London requires health insurance coverage for the locally employed staff of the US Consulate General in Hamilton, Bermuda.  The Embassy encourages prospective offerors to offer off-the-shelf plans which meet at least the minimum benefit levels required in this solicitation.

The anticipated performance period is a base year with four one-year option periods which may be exercised at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government.  Only companies specializing in this field and licensed to provide employee health insurance in Bermuda should express interest in this opportunity.  

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract with economic price adjustment requirements under which will be issued firm, fixed-price task orders.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference is in the solicitation.
This opportunity is subject to FAR 52.229-12 – Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements.
