Description

The Apalachicola National Forest requires the procurement of three (3) Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV). This extreme-duty vehicle is needed to support wildfire operations, prescribed fire operations, prep work, heavy load hauling in rugged terrain. (3) Utility Terrain Vehicles will be used as trade-ins.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12444126Q0021 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 3 UTVs with Trade-Ins..

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.  The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336999  The small business size standard is $7,500,000  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

Emails should contain 3 separate attachments (Technical Proposal, Price Proposal, and Representations and Certifications) in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Adobe PDF format. Be aware that large attachments may increase the time required to deliver an email. It is the offerors responsibility to confirm receipt of the offer.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

  • Offers are due by April 15, 2026 @ 1700 ET.
  • Questions shall be submitted via email to thomas.wolterman@usda.gov and are due no later than April 13, 2026 at 1700 ET.  This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends.  Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email

The USDA requires delivery of all items by June 16, 2026.  Early deliveries will be accepted.
