Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing annual inspection, testing, and certification of 43 top door alarms located in Building 140 at the VA Illiana Health Care System, 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois 61832. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other resources necessary to perform the required services. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 561621 Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths). Scope of Services Inspect and test top door alarms and associated hardware components. Inspect strobes, key switches, audible alarms, doors, hinges, header assemblies, and door switch assemblies. Conduct walk and press tests for door alarm systems. Provide written inspection results and an annual certification following completion of testing and any required repairs. Replace backup batteries biannually as required. Provide inspection and testing services for all listed rooms in Building 140.
