Description

The American Embassy in Bogota, Colombia requires preventive maintenance services to maintain its Uninterruptible Power Supply equipment. These services shall result in all systems being serviced under this agreement to be in good operational condition when activated.  The UPS shall always be ready to provide backup power in the event of power failure or reduction. The Contractor shall provide all necessary managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel, as well as all transportation, equipment, tools, supplies and materials required to perform inspection, maintenance, and component replacement as required to maintain the systems in accordance with this work statement.  This agreement does not include the supply of spare parts by the contractor.

The contractor must comply with:

Being a certified EATON representative for the installed UPS models at the Embassy and be able to perform work in Colombia; a copy of such certificate shall be attached to the contract. 

Providing the services of technicians trained and certified by Eaton on the UPS models installed at the Embassy to inspect, adjust, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance; a copy of such certificate shall be attached to the contract.

Certifying at least four (4) years of previous experience maintaining Eaton UPS of the same models installed at the Embassy. 

Scheduling all preventive maintenance work with the site Facility Manager to avoid disrupting the business operation of the Embassy.

Companies must be legally established in Colombia, comply with all specific Colombian regulations and standards applicable to the services offered, and demonstrate extensive experience, with a minimum of 4 years of verifiable track record in the Colombian market.

The anticipated performance period is 5 years, if exercised by the Government.  All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.  

The Government intends to award a Contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable list of prices. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.  Please see the attachments to get complete information.

It is highly recommended that all contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.  Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
