Special Notice of Intent - Strategic Contract and Training Services

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED PRICE REQUIREMENT. THIS NOTICE IS UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 6.302-1, ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. NAICS Code 541611, Zygos Consulting LLC; business size standard is $24.5M. The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to negotiate a sole source contract extension to Zygos Consulting LLC, for Strategic Contracting and Training Services, for a base period of performance beginning 23 March 2026, and we anticipate it will have a base period of performance of 4 months with two 4-month option. This will extend the current contract HT001524C0002, to the follow-on competed award re-affirmations date/performance start date. The competed requirement was solicited on 1 August 2024, with proposals received on 4 December 2024, but is currently in corrective actions after being dismissed from GAO protests. This extension is to continue providing strategic advisor support functions across the Defense Health Agency for the Program Executive Officer (PEO) of Medical Systems/Chief Information Officer (CIO)/ J-6. This notice is not a request for proposals. A solicitation document will not be issued, and proposals will not be requested.
