Description
The Portage County Solid Waste Department owns and operates the adjacent Transfer Facility, that processes solid waste, and a Recycling Facility, that processes single-stream recycling. The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for CMaR Services for the following: 1. An approximately 1,100 sq ft addition for a compactor at the Portage County Solid Waste Transfer Facility a. Including a ventilation system for dust control b. Including a roof that ties into the existing roof of the Transfer Facility 2. Dry fire suppression systems for the Transfer and Recycling Facilities 3. A push wall for the Recycling Facility 4. A replacement tipping floor for the Recycling Facility 5. New Ceiling Tiles and Cleaning of the Office Space in the Recycling Facility 6. Cleaning of the Transfer and Recycling Facility The County of Portage as represented by the Purchasing Department intends to use the results of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a contract for the above listed project. The contract administrator will be determined at the time of the contract award. Retain a copy of these proposal documents for your files. Should you receive an award, these documents become your contract terms and conditions.
