ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Ozaukee Nonprofit Center
Connectivity & Workspace Expansion Project
Flexible Facilities Program – Capital Projects Fund Sealed bids will be received by Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC) until 4:00 PM (local time) on Tuesday,
August 19th, 2025 at the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center, 2360 Dakota, Grafton, WI for the ONC Connectivity &
Workspace Expansion Project. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, August
21, 2025, at the Ozaukee Nonprofit Center.
ONC seeks a qualified Contractor for the construction project for the Connectivity & Workspace Expansion
Project at its nonprofit facility located at 2360 Dakota Drive, Grafton, WI. The project includes interior and
exterior renovations, construction of ADA-compliant restrooms, enhancements to shared-use telehealth and
educational spaces, and the creation of an outdoor eco-wellness space with raised garden beds. The work must be
performed in accordance with the architectural plans and specifications provided as part of the bidding documents.
Prequalification of Bidders will not be required. A pre-submittal walk-through and open house will be held
on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the project location: 2360 Dakota Drive,
Grafton, WI 53024. All bidder questions must be submitted in writing no later than 4:00 PM on
Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Any clarifications or changes will be issued by addendum no later than 5:00
PM on Friday, August 15, 2025.
Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, will be available digitally starting Thursday,

A certified check or bid bond payable without condition to Ozaukee Nonprofit Center in an amount not less
than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that if the
contract is awarded, a proper contract and performance bond will be executed and filed within ten (10) days
of bid acceptance. If the Contractor fails to execute and file such contract and bond, the amount of the check
or bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
No bid shall be withdrawn after the bid opening without the consent of Ozaukee Nonprofit Center for a
period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening. Each Contractor agrees upon submission of a proposal that
if the same be accepted within said time period, contractor shall be bound by the terms of acceptance
hereinafter contained.
Ozaukee Nonprofit Center reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept
any bid deemed to be in the best interest of Ozaukee Nonprofit Center. The successful Contractor will be
required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract.
This project is funded in part through the State of Wisconsin’s Flexible Facilities Program (FFP), supported
by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Capital Projects Fund (CPF). All work performed must comply with
applicable state and federal procurement standards, including those outlined in the FFP Implementation
Handbook
All bids must be prepared on the forms included in the Contract Documents and must be sealed and
addressed to Ozaukee Nonprofit Center – Connectivity & Workspace Expansion Project, ATTN: Carissa Barnes, 2360
Dakota, Grafton, WI 53224. There shall appear on the envelope of each proposal, the name and address of
the Contractor and purpose for which the proposal is intended.
All bidders will be notified of the award decision by email within five (5) business days of the public bid
opening.
