NOTICE INVITING BIDS 2025 BEAVER DAM UTILITIES – 14’ DUMP BODY CITY OF BEAVER DAM, WISCONSIN May 13, 2025 Bids shall be received for this vehicle and equipment as specified herein for use by the Beaver Dam Utilities. Specifications listed are the MINIMUM specifications required to be considered as a valid bid. If certain specifications cannot be met, the equivalent or alternative must be specified in the quote. Beaver Dam Utilities reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept such bid as they deem most advantageous to the Utilities. Bid shall be valid for a minimum of thirty (30) days. All bids must be received by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday June 12, 2025 . Bids shall be submitted through Vendornet or shall be mailed or delivered to: City of Beaver Dam Utilities Attn: Jeremy Klug, Director of Utilities 108 Myrtle Road Beaver Dam, WI 53916 Or emailed (**preferred method of submittal) to Jeremy Klug, Director of Utilities at jklug@ci.beaverdam.wi.gov 2. The City of Beaver Dam reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept such bid as they deem most advantageous to the City of Beaver Dam. The City reserves the right to consider the bids for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of the bids and will then either award the contract or reject all bids within that time. No bidder may withdraw its bid within the thirty (30) day period. 3. Any deviations from the specifications must be approved by the Director of Utilities prior to bidding. 2025 BEAVER DAM UTILITIES – 14’ DUMP BODY CITY OF BEAVER DAM, WISCONSIN SPECIFICATIONS ONE (1) CARBON STEEL 14’ LONG X 44” HIGH SIDES 1. Dump Body Specifications: Bed Size shall be 14’ long x 44” high sides Half cab guard 3” above cab roof minimum XS-120-5.5.3 DA single cylinder double acting (or acceptable equivalent) Factory air tripped tailgate Cougar DC-3200 electric vibrator (or acceptable equivalent) PTO driven hydraulic pump from Allison 3000rds transmission. Controlled by Morse cables. Complete safety lighting package including mirror mounted strobes, Front/Grill mounted strobes and rear post mounted strobes (strobes to be LED). Stop tail directionals and back up alarm. Rear mudflaps frame mounted. Two (2) OSHA approved body props. Power retractable tarp Power liftgate with high lift. Paint to match Mack Medium Red. Owner to approve color. ***Mack technical specifications provided with this request. All bidders must familiarize themselves with truck specifications to verify dump body specifications proposed. Chassis planned production date 06/13/2025.
