Description

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to solicit bids from qualified Bidders to establish a one-time contract to providedemolition and rebuilding services for Virginia ABC’s Alexandria Regional Office located at 6308 Grovedale Drive,Alexandria VA 22310.*Complete demolition of all existing wall material including sheetrock/drywall and insulation while maintaining theexisting structural integrity.*Complete removal of all existing VCT/LVT flooring to include any adhesive residue.*Complete removal of existing ceiling tiles, lighting and any fixtures including but not limited to plumbing, electrical and HVAC, while maintaining the existing structural integrity.*Complete demolition of the existing Mechanical room to include removal of HVAC system, boiler system, plumbing, electrical and any other applicable components.*Removal and proper disposal of all demolished materials at the contractor’s expense.*Thorough cleaning of the existing structure, if applicable, to prepare for reconstruction.*Install wall materials, including sheetrock/drywall and insulation. Complete taping, spackling/puttying, andsanding of all seams, corners and nail/screw holes, to create a smooth, paintable surface.*Application of paint to achieve a finished appearance.*Install commercial grade LVT flooring to include subflooring, adhesive, and all necessary transitional elements asapplicable.*Install new ceiling tiles and light fixtures*Install two (2) new 7.5-ton HVAC units with applicable concrete pads. *Complete rebuilding of Mechanical room to include air handlers, ductwork, and all other applicable equipment.*Complete installation of all other applicable electrical and plumbing needed to complete renovations.
