Description
The Department of Historic Resources (DHR) is accepting applications for the Virginia Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Historic Preservation Fund for the 2026 fiscal year. The grant program's purpose is to protect and support Virginiaâs historically underserved and underrepresented communities and the cultural and historical sites associated with them. This fund will provide grants for the acquisition, protection, and rehabilitation of historic and archaeological sites of significance associated with Virginiaâs Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
