Description
The City of Virginia Beach is soliciting statements of interest and qualifications to provide geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, soils & materials testing, special inspection services (in accordance with the Hampton Roads Regional Special Inspection Guidelines and Procedures 2021 USBC Edition, Latest Revision), vibration monitoring, pre-construction and post-construction condition assessments, and underground utilities designation/location to be performed on various City projects. Services will be provided under an annual service contract renewable yearly for up to three renewals for a total term of 4 years upon agreement of both parties.The contract will require the consulting firm to perform geotechnical engineering, soil borings, soil & materials testing, special inspections, vibration monitoring, preconstruction and post-construction condition assessments and underground utilities designation/location including field work; engineering and analysis; report preparation; and related tasks; etc. for various City of Virginia Beach projects.
