ITB No. 25-2876-9JL - Richmond Henrico Turnpike Improvements

The Work consists of improvements to Richmond-Henrico Turnpike (R-HT) beginning at the intersection of Laburnum Avenue and ending at the intersection of Hummingbird Road. The length of improvements are approximately 1.15 miles. Improvements will consist of a four-lane curb and gutter roadway with either a flush shared center left turn lane or a raised median, a ten-foot shared use path with lighting on the eastern side and a five-foot sidewalk on the western side of R-HT. Enclosed drainage will be provided throughout the project limits as well as two stormwater management facilities, public water, sanitary sewer, signing and pavement markings. The project crosses Horse Swamp Creek where a new triple ten-foot by ten-foot box culvert will be installed. This project will be built according to the latest VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications.
