The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as VDOT, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide routine, general maintenance on Storm Water Management Facilities (SWMF) and Best Management Practices (BMPs) in various locations, on interstate, primary and secondary routes, located within Salem District. The BMPs shall include but not be limited to; Filtering Practices, Sheet Flows to Vegetation Filter or Conserved Open Space, Constructed Wetlands, Bioretention, Infiltration Basins, Infiltration Trenches, Dry Swales, Permeable Pavement, Grassed Swales, Grassed Channels, Level Spreaders, Check Dams, Wet Basins, Wet Ponds, Extended Detention Basins, Sand Filter Basins.
