Description
The City of Waco, Texas, invites qualified vendors to submit bids for the provision of ten (10) vehicles, as detailed in this Request for Bid (RFB) Document. The scope of this RFB encompasses a diverse range of vehicles, including, but not limited to electric vehicle (EV) trucks, SUVs, vans, and 1/2 to 1-ton work trucks with specialized upfitting. Bidders are encouraged to propose vehicles of any model or brand that is an equivalent of the specifications of each unit outlined in Appendix D. This RFB is designed to facilitate a multi-vendor award system, ensuring a competitive and fair evaluation of all proposals. Vendors are strongly encouraged to present alternative EV models that are equivalent or exceed the standards set forth in the department's requirements. The City of Waco is committed to fostering a diverse supplier base and encourages submissions from all capable vendors. Detailed specifications are attached as Appendices.
