Description
The NIH/NICHD intends to restrict competition in accordance with RFO FAR 12.102(a) and solicit directly from EVIDENT SCIENTIFIC MIS, INC. in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for a 12-month service contract/extended warranty for two Evident/Olympus VS200-6 FL Slide Scanners (S/N 211012411) and (S/N 230427604). The scanners require regular preventive maintenance, calibration, and alignment by qualified technicians to maintain accuracy and reliability. We need a service contract that shall provide annual preventive maintenance and on-site repair support, including parts, labor, software updates and travel, to minimize downtime and ensure continued operation of the instruments. The agency has a continued need for these services and anticipates needing one (1) additional 12-month option year. This Presolicitation notice is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Solicitation, however all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency.
