Washington County, Oregon, is requesting letters of intent from qualified individuals to fill the position of Associate Medical Director for Washington County Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Through this Letter of Intent, Washington County is seeking an individual who will hold the position of Associate EMS Medical Director to Washington County. The initial contracting period is from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027 and may be extended up to 5 years which will run Jan-Dec.
If the County receives more than two submissions for the Medical Director position identified in this Letter of Intent, a Request for Proposals process will be initiated for the services.
In order to qualify for this contract the responder:
1) Must be practicing doctor licensed to practice in Oregon
2) Must have experience working in the EMS field (transport, previous medical direction, work as a physician in the emergency department)
The County strongly prefers, knowledge of the EMS system and partners in Washington county or the tri-county area
