Addendum No. 1 to the above-mentioned project for the City of Salem, Oregon, is a part of the contract
documents, and as such, supersedes anything within the specifications with which it may conflict.


CHANGES TO SPECIAL PROVISIONS:

DIVISION 4-SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAINS

Section 412-Manhole Rehabilitation

412.1.01A Scope

—Add the following text to the beginning of this Subsection of the Special Provisions:

Manhole Rehabilitation shall include cementitious lining of manholes followed by epoxy coating of
manholes. The entire interior manhole surfaces including the walls and bench shall be lined except the
channel of the mainline. The entire interior manholes surfaces shall be epoxy coated, including walls,
benches and channels. The entire interior manhole surface of SSMH 7873 including the walls and
benches shall be lined and coated except the channel of the mainline.


All other terms, conditions, and specifications within the bid documents shall remain unchanged and in
effect in their entirety.
