Library AV

Video and Audio system design and implementation for a Library presentation space. See attachments for details.

The Lake Oswego Public Library is seeking to upgrade their children’s programming space AV equipment.
Below please find the minimum requirements for this upgrade. Adjustments based on
recommendations from qualified installers will be considered.
1. New Projector
a. 1920 x 1080 or better
b. Ceiling mount
c. HDMI input
2. Existing HDMI wall plate input
a. Connect existing wall plate to system
b. Intended for laptop connectivity to system
3. Existing Blu-Ray player
a. Connect existing player to system
4. New HDMI Automatic Switcher
a. One input for laptop connection
b. One input for Blu-Ray player
c. Default to Blu-Ray when laptop not in use, switch automatically to laptop when
connected
5. New Microphones
a. One Wireless hand-held
i. Detachable wireless receiver so microphone may be used wired if needed (XLR)
b. One Wireless lapel
6. New Amplifier
a. 2 channel stereo
b. Broadcast audio output from switcher to speakers
7. New Speakers
a. Two wall or celling mounted speakers
8. New Assisted Listening System
a. Broadcast audio output from switcher to support ADA needs
9. New IR Receiver for remote control of
a. Blu-Ray player
b. Audio volume
c. Projector
10. Existing pull-down screen
a. 80” x 78”
b. 12 feet from current projector location
11. No physical system controls to be added to programming space
12. Equipment to be installed in existing AV closet adjacent to space
