Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Contract to Gordon Truck Centers Pursuant to Eugene Code 2.1430 and under the exemption or procedure authorized by City of Eugene Administrative Order 44-23-01F, Public Contracting Rules 2014, 137-047-0275, the City of Eugene intends to contract for Freightliner trucks authorized parts and warranty service from Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. Pursuant to Eugene Code 2.1430 and under the exemption or procedure authorized by City of Eugene Administrative Order 44-23-01F, Public Contracting Rules 2014, 137-047-0275, the City of Eugene intends to contract for Freightliner trucks authorized parts and warranty service from Gordon Truck Centers, Inc. as a sole-source provider for this product through July 31, 2029. The estimated cost of the purchase is $152,000 for the first year with an estimated cost of $200,000 in subsequent years for a total of $952,000 over a five-year period. Any other Supplier who can supply this product should notify the City of Eugene Purchasing Office in writing by 4:00 PM, July 23, 2024. Notifications shall be emailed to Eugene.Purchasing@ci.eugene.or.us.
