Description

RFP 20242056 Franklin Boulevard: A Partnership to Rebuild and Revive a Corridor (Springfield) Agency is contracting with Consultant for Services in connection with the following project for the City of Springfield: Franklin Boulevard: A Partnership to Rebuild and Revive a Corridor (Springfield). Services include related engineering and coordination to develop plans, specifications, and engineering estimate (PS&E), public outreach assistance, and right-of-way services. Proposals from qualified consultant(s) shall be prepared based on the following scope of work and project criteria. The purpose of this project is to make multi-modal improvements to OR126B (Franklin Blvd.) to bring the facility up to urban standards and to improve the safety and operations of the transportation system for all users. This project includes Phase 2 of the overall hybrid multi-way boulevard. The multi-way boulevard includes dedicated facilities for bicycles and pedestrians, roundabouts, entry treatments to the City of Springfield, storm water treatment, landscaping, decorative roadway and pedestrian level lighting, and improved EmX bus rapid transit facilities.
