ITB 2023200057 New Remain Overnight Apron & Fiber Optics Transmission System Relocation Pursuant to ORS 279C.365 and City of Eugene Administrative Order 44-14-08, Public Contracting Rule (City Rule) 137-049-0200, bids for New Remain Overnight (RON) Apron and Fiber Optics Transmission System (FOTS) Relocation for the City of Eugene will be accepted by the Purchasing Office In general, the project involves the construction of a concrete (P-501) Remain Overnight (RON) apron and adjacent asphalt (P-401) taxilane at the Eugene Airport. There will also be asphalt mill and overlay (P-401) of adjacent aprons and Taxiway D. Airfield taxiway pavement removal consisting of asphalt, aggregate base course and cement treated base. New 30-foot wide asphalt taxiway shoulders will be constructed to meet current FAA standards and the pavement section includes FAA materials P-403, P-304, and P-154. Drainage improvements include removal of existing drainage pipe and structures, installation of new drainage pipe, new trench drain, drainage structures and underdrain. Electrical improvements include removal of existing electrical infrastructure and installation of junction cans, electrical vaults, guidance signs, new LED taxiway edge lights, conduit, cabling, centerline lights, and vault improvements. A major component of this project involves the relocation of existing FAA Fiber Optics Transmission System (FOTS) infrastructure as well as airport owned fiber infrastructure and EWEB power. Additional improvements include unclassified excavation, asphalt and CTB removal, infield grading, top-soiling, seeding, and waterborne pavement markings.
