Description
Briscoe School roof replacement Roofing Addendum 2 p.4, Invitation to Bid. Paragraph 1 – Change time and location of bid opening to 3:00 pm June 22nd in the Lithia Conference Room of the Community Development Building at 51 Winburn Way, Ashland, Oregon. Section 4.2.5 Add new subsection 4.2.5.g to read as follows: Roofing Liability. Time is of the essence to make the Briscoe School watertight once the roof has been removed. In addition to Contractor's obligations set forth in Section 27 of Exhibit A to the “Public Improvement Contract for Project 2019-27: Briscoe School Roof Replacement,” Contractor shall take all precaution to minimize exposure time between roof removal and roof installation. Contractor is responsible for any rain damage to occur to Briscoe School as a result of Contractor’s failure to take precautionary steps, which include but are not limited to, the timely ordering of material, proper scheduling of personnel, scheduling coordination with the asbestos abatement contractors, and the use of temporary roofing material in the event of a predicted rainstorm.
