ODHE Science of Reading Remediation

The Chancellor of the Ohio Department of Higher Education ("ODHE") is currently seeking proposals from qualified vendor(s) to review post-audit submissions from educator preparation programs to verify subsequent remediation and achievement of 100% of audit metrics and/or elimination of all prohibited three-cueing instruction. The completed audits will form the basis for initial review, with an opportunity to review any new material introduced post-audit. The selected vendor will assist with planning and execution of a process to collect and evaluate materials submitted by these thirty-four EPPs to determine whether they have met this requirement. The award of this RFP will result in a contract with ODHE. The Chancellor’s responsibilities and this RFP are consistent with Ohio Revised Code 3333.048 and 3313.6028.
