Description

Clark County invites qualified firms or individuals to submit bids. Questions regarding this bid must be directed to the Bid Contact listed in this bid. The work consists of all labor, materials, utilities, permits, devices, systems and equipment necessary to demo one (1) existing 250mbh Lochinvar atmospheric boiler and (1) existing boiler circulation inline pump, air separator, expansion tank, piping, supports, devices and other associated systems per project drawings within this set of plans and manuals, and replace with (2) 500mbh non condensing (near condensing) boilers, working in unison and providing redundancy, and (2) boiler circulation pump, piping, supports, devices and other associated systems as required for successful installation and operation of the systems. "Work" at boiler room and adjoining air handler room, both are referred as "mechanical rooms" also consist of piping/fittings, hydronic valves and appurtenances, control valves, piping supports, equipment pads, natural gas piping, floor drain and floor sink and associated piping, flue and combustion piping and electrical power as necessary for removal of existing and connection to the new equipment and systems. Natural gas service work includes removal of existing meter, regulator and piping and installation of (1) natural-gas meter, regulator and associated piping and coordination with southwest gas company. Roofing work includes patching the existing flue pipe roof opening and new roofing for (2) boiler flue vent pipes. Structural concrete work includes extending the existing 4" concrete pad inside the mechanical room to accommodate for installation of new boilers. Providing wall openings for combustion air louvers. "Work" includes testing, adjusting and balancing the entire hot water hydronic heating system. System commissioning to be provided per requirements of contract documents. "Work" includes Johnson Controls "JCI" to remove existing controls and connect new systems and integrate to existing control systems. Contractor to contract JCI for new controls and sequencing setup, and integration of the new and existing BACnet control systems.
